Prologue

Ultimate Cheeseburger Status: RAW

As per the new tradition, Genri decided to make his way over to Northern California first, to prep up his costumes. Once again, his good friend Gina gave him crash space, and as he walked into her house, there was an eerie sense of deja vu:

Genri - "All right, I know you're halfway done, and we have a good week to finish, so let's party!"
Gina - "Uhhh, I have to start my costumes before I can help you on yours."
Genri - "So you're telling me we both haven't started on ANY of our costumes?"
Gina - "Hella!"

But this year wasn't as stressful - Genri only had 2 new costumes to make, and touch-ups to the rest of his, while Gina only had 3. Of course, despite the extremely numerous protests, there was the obligatory trip to Milpitas Golfland, where Genri showed everybody PPPP (Pelvic Para Para Paradise). Let's just say there was much groaning. Oh wait, that sounded wrong. Never mind.

For his skit, Genri had to make a costume for Sapphire, one of the lovely bishounen of Sailor Moon. The pattern was very similar to Kamui from last year, but Gina had thrown it away! Fear not, as Genri's shisho, Kami-chan, was readily available to draw him a pattern for the jacket! Of course, the pattern needed a few "modifications" (Gina: "Dude, last time I checked you don't have hips, so we're gonna ax this part"), but otherwise it was perfect!

Using a combination of Comedy Central, Eurobeat music, and hokey Hong Kong movies (FUTURE COPS!), what a shock it was that they were almost done with everything by Monday night! Could it be? Genri could actually sleep? Cue the arrival of Kelly, who was also in Genri's group.

Kelly - "Genri, can you make me a staff for Beryl?"

So much for his plan of DDRing all of Tuesday at Golfland. But in either case, Genri and Gina were done with everything by Tuesday, so they spent the day at AMC's house, where he drooled over and helped construct their Magic Knight Rayearth swords, as well as Beryl's staff. By Tuesday night, 2 am, they were all packed and set to go!

Oh, and Gina's dog didn't talk to him this time.

Instead, her chair chased him in circles a couple times.
